Covid-19 Information

Dear Client,

We know that there’s widespread concern in our community about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), and we want you to know that your health is our top priority at West Shore Wellness, LLC.

With the increasing uncertainty and growing number of infected individuals around the world, we encourage you to take responsibility for yourself and your family. Though the risk remains low, it’s important to take a proactive approach to minimize exposure.

  • If you’re exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, I urge you to stay home, take care of yourself, and seek medical help when appropriate.

With social distancing in effect for the next few weeks, West Shore Wellness, LLC is moving our treatment online at this time with the use of a HIPPA secure telehealth platform.  We care about you and want to ensure that we are doing our part not to put susceptible individuals within each of our families at risk.

I encourage you to schedule a secure video appointment with us. Research shows that they can be just as effective as in-person appointments, and we can continue your care without interruption. If you're interested, let me know and I'll make the necessary arrangements (there are a couple of documents I will need to send to you as well as the video link).

Please refer to the CDC’s dedicated 2019-ncov website for additional information, and maintain awareness by checking the official communications from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization.

Capital Blue Cross – Covered only if you have “Virtual Coverage” written into your plan – Co-pays and deductibles still apply

Aetna – $0 copays until June 4, 2020  

United Healthcare/Optum BH – Covered 100% - no co-pays or deductibles (waived) during Covid-19

Cigna – Telehealth Covered – co-pays & deductibles still apply

UPMC – $0 copays for Telehealth through

Geisinger Health Care – $0 co-pays through June 15, 2020 for telehealth
